Saving specific pages of a LONG pdf file!
Have you ever found a pdf, be it a manual, lesson plan, information from a website such as CDE, or any other long pdf file and you really only want to save a few pages? The pages don't even have to be in consecutive order!! It's simple, free and easy using the Chrome web browser!
- Save the PDF or if you are using Chrome, just make sure that the PDF is open in Chrome.
- If you saved the PDF on your computer, you'll need to open it in Chrome.
- Open Chrome
- Hit Control - O to get the prompt. Find your PDF on the computer and click OPEN.
- Once the PDF is open in Chrome, go to the 3 little bars on the top right of the screen and choose Print.
- Click on the button that says "change" next to "destination".
- Select - SAVE AS PDF.
- Now, where the pages you want to 'print' are, choose only the pages you actually want to save.
- Click SAVE.
- You'll be prompted to save the file to a location of your choosing. You should also name the file so you know it's the file with only the pages you want.
- If you have the original file saved on your computer and you don't need all those pages, go ahead and delete this file!
- That's it!!
