Signing in to Chrome allows you access to all of your bookmarks (Favorites), apps, extensions and themes from any device. You can even open the tabs that you have open on another device! Signing in to Chrome allows you to personalize your Chrome experience independent of the device that you are using.
Note: The settings button featured in the video is no longer a wrench. The settings button now looks like this:
Sign in to Chrome: Click the triple Horizontal Hot Dogs in the corner. Then click “sign in.”
You may want to use Chrome as your default browser. In order to make Chrome your default browser:
Multiple Users - I have one for my personal account and one for school. That way, I can have bookmarks I use for school on my school account, and the bookmarks I need for home on my personal account. Super handy.
If you have or are using a Chromebook, you are basically one user on a Chromebook. Every time you log in on a Chromebook with your account, you will have all your bookmarks for whichever account you sign in with on the machine. In other words, a Chromebook signs you in to your account AND Chrome at the same time.
Right clicking on a tab brings up a separate menu. Check out the options.
