Asia is a content with many country including: China, India, Japan, North Korea, and many more. This area has any biomes like: Ocean, wetlands, temperate forests, tropical forests, mountains, grasslands, deserts, and polar.
ANIMALS
Koala - This is an Animal that is also found in the forest's of Asia. In a zoo environment the animal may not be able to live like its free counterparts.
Orangutan - This is a animal in the Monkey family. This is an animal that can be affected in captivity since it needs to be able to move in large free spaces as it pleases.
Asian Elephant - This is one of the biggest animals in all of Asia. With that said it needs plenty of space to move and go about his business.
Bengal tiger - This is one of the apex predators of the Asian content. Two of the many disadvantages of having them in a zoo is they do not have to hunt for their food and that they have no room in the habitat to run.
Bamboo - This is a plant that is native to Eastern Asia. This is a plant that is very strong.
Japanese Painted Fern - This is a type of shrub that grows in most areas of the continent.
Cherry Blossom - This is a flower that is native to the SE parts of Asia. This is a flower that many people all over the world use to decorate their homes.

Weather Comparison
Deserts are usually very, very dry. Even the wettest deserts get less than ten inches of precipitation a year. In most places, rain falls steadily throughout the year. Temperate grasslands have hot summers and cold winters. Summer temperatures can be well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, while winter temperatures can be as low as -40 degrees Fahrenheit. And the average temperature in temperate deciduous forests is 50°F (10°C). Summers are mild, and average about 70°F (21°C), while winter temperatures are often well below freezing. In Miami the weather is very similar to the ones that are found in Asia, (forests, grasslands and deserts). Here in Miami (and also at the zoo Miami), we have 128 days per year with precipitation, which gives us an average annual precipitation of 61.93 inches. In the same biomes, at Asia, the averages are different. In forests the average is 30 to 60 inches, in grasslands it is 30 inches and in deserts the average is 10 inches. So even though the temperature of the biomes are similar, at the zoo the animals are exposed to a bigger quantity of rainfalls than at Asia.
Request to the zoo
The zoo Miami is doing a good job on keeping the animals and plants on the ideal weather regarding Asia. As said before, even though rains more in Miami, the temperatures are relatively similar. I would say that they could bring "alceas" and "cherry blossom" from Asia. Alceas which are long stem with pink paddies in it and also grow in large patches. Cherry blossom is a large tree with tons of pinks flowers. So in my opinion it would look pretty if they put it in the zoo. When my partners and I went to the zoo we saw aside from all of the animals we saw a plethora of bamboos. So the zoo should keep on working hard and protecting all the animals in all the areas off the zoo!
