Mrs. Nancy joins the library as our full time library assistant!
Monthly book orders! Each month you will receive an email with a form to fill out if you have any suggestions for books or materials for the library! You can always find this form on the library website and can fill it out at any time.
A monthly newsletter to share our library happenings and what-we're-doings. You are welcome to use this information in your classroom newsletters as well. You'll also see a "More You Know" section featuring databases and useful tools.
All MS (Middle School) students must come to the library with a pass AND their ID around their neck (no exceptions!). We will be putting a stack of passes in your mailboxes and will send students back to class if they do not have their ID and a signed pass with all students name on them.
Primary School can bring your classes to the library! Just use this link to schedule your students to visit the library. We can read a story with a supporting activity and check out books!
Lower School library orientation classes begin August 22, 2022. Please sign up for your weekly library class for August 22 - September 30 here. This means you will bring your class to the library for a weekly library lesson. Starting October 3 we will transition to our open access schedule. You can send students in pairs, small groups, or as a class to the library whenever you like for circulation! You don’t have to wait for your “day”, you can come three days in a row! For library lessons you will schedule Mrs. Cook to come to your classroom to support your lessons with research/GID or literature. These are not recurring weekly lessons. They are as needed as you “book Mrs. Cook” here.
Middle School library classes are scheduled with Mrs. Wyszkowski. She can help support you with research and GID. You can reach out to her by email or in person to schedule classes.
Need to reserve the library for an event or class? Be sure and come by to check our calendar before submitting your activities form. If you can’t make it to see us we have a form on our library page to fill out here. You must get approval from us first to avoid any schedule conflicts.
Overdue notices are emailed to all students and parents. We can print overdue notices prior to your class coming as needed. We were very lenient with overdue notices last year. This year we will return to our normal policies which you can read here. Overdue/Current Checkout notices are sent to teachers and faculty monthly.
Laminating - Please watch this video prior to using the machine. Keep in mind that if it breaks it may be several days before someone can come out to repair it. Please wipe down the machine when you are done. Spray the paper towel and then wipe the machine.
Faculty Book Club sign ups are here. We read about 4 books throughout the year and meet after school and on TWDs to discuss. It’s a lot of fun and is open to everyone! The sign up link takes you to a Google Classroom. Please make sure you're signed into your Gulliver Google account when signing up.
