Students in the Chemistry Advanced course took on a can crush challenge. They were given the following scenario:

Chemistry Honors
Students in the Honors Chemistry course participated in the Heat Shield Challenge.
In teams, students designed heat shields that simulated an atmospheric reentry. Through several tests and research, students had three opportunities to better their models by exploring other models and gathering pertinent data to create a heat shield that would withstand the heat.

Chemistry CP
Students in the Chemistry CP classes evaluated different types of propulsion. Once they had evaluated the different types of propulsions, students created a blog and/or a podcast.
