G-Suite for Educators
G-Suite is available by logging in to your @gulfcoschools.com account at www.google.com
- Username: first initial followed by last name @gulfcoschools.com
- Password: 23 followed by first four letters of last name beginning with capital and last four digits Focus username
- contact support@gulfcoschools.com for password reset.
This is the same account that students use when logging in to a Chromebook.
Chrome is the preferred browser when using G-Suite.
G-Suite apps can be used on any device by downloading them to your mobile device.
Google Classroom is the star application in G-Suite for Education. Classroom is an online platform that allows teacher to post assignments and resources students can utilize to complete and turn in assignments.
NOTE: The FOCUS Gradebook Classroom integration will allow you to sync assignments and grades between your FOCUS Gradebook and your Google Classrooms. More training on this integration will be coming soon.
Your Google Classrooms have already been created, students are loaded by period. You are also welcome to create your own classroom and invite your students.
