Fall NCA info session - Sept 11 at 2:45pm in East Gallery (Founders)
Nationally Competitive Awards are, well, competitive. But with planning, mentoring, and excellent grades, these life-changing opportunities are within your grasp! And we are here to help--but the key is starting early and creating an action plan.
The most prestigious national awards have senior year applications (e.g., Rhodes, Fulbright, Marshall). But they take years of strategic preparation, so it helps to connect with us and get a mentor as soon as possible--and commit to the extra work.
In addition to these major awards, there are plenty of other opportunities to compete for national awards as early as your freshman or sophomore year. Some awards are open to international and undocumented students, too. (Awards funded by taxpayer funds are reserved solely for US citizens.) Finally, some awards are open to grad students and recent alumni.
Check out the Awards & Deadlines page for individual award information, and complete the interest form!
