Technology is the use of scientific knowledge for practical purposes or applications, whether in industry or in our everyday lives. So, basically, whenever we use our scientific knowledge to achieve some specific purpose, we're using technology.

All Technology classes count towards graduation. You need 4 elective credits with 1 of those being an "Art, Music or Tech" class. Design & Drawing for Production meets the NYS requirement to graduate. The four Project Lead the Way classes have the opportunity to earn 3 college credits from RIT if a student maintains 85% or higher in the class and passes the End of Course college exam.
