C-Cubed

The Guilderland Central School District Elementary C-Cubed Enrichment Program is designed to encourage collaboration, creativity, and curiosity. It is a foundation that will lead students to future academic success by providing them with opportunities to be resilient and persevere in an environment that encourages risk-taking and thinking outside the box.

Our activities are based on the Next Generation Science Standards. We incorporate inquiry-based strategies to activate student curiosity. Lessons are student-centered and focus on hands-on activities that allow students to truly immerse themselves into the curriculum. We use problem-based learning strategies to provide students with real-world experiences that encourage creativity and more closely mirror what will be expected of them in the future. We implement programs that require students to use empathy and compassion to first identify a problem, then collaboratively work to design and engineer a solution.

The C-Cubed program gives ALL students the confidence and strategies to succeed in the 21st century.
