In order to be successful, you must have an instrument in working order and the proper accessories to that instrument. We have some school instruments available, but certainly not enough for everyone. If possible it is recommended to rent an instrument from a music store. Many programs are rent to own and come with repairs as well. Sometimes a mouthpiece upgrade or other accessories can make a huge difference in your sound! Below are recommendations for accessories.

If your personal instrument needs repaired, I recommend taking it to Mike Nye Instrument repair. They are kind of far (Tempe) but they have great prices and do a wonderful job.
If your school instrument needs repaired, tell Mr. Alguire immediately. We have a separate process for getting school owned instruments repaired. Do not take a school owned instrument to a repair shop or try to fix it yourself. Please note however, that if the damage is determined to be more than general ware and tare, students may be financially responsible for the repair.
