The SAT and ACT are standardized tests that higher educational institutions use to help determine admission to their school. These tests are very important and can have a significant impact on any student wishing to attend a higher educational institution.
The US Navy provides free resources for cadets in the Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps to help them prepare for these challenging exams. Additionally, our unit provides free SAT tutoring with our academic team on weekday mornings.
Our unit encourages its cadets to take standardized exams such as the SAT, ACT, and PSAT. Since these exams not only help themselves, but also help our unit we do offer unit service hours for any time spent taking one of these exams.
Some of the free resources provided by the US Navy for cadet use is up to date Official SAT and ACT review books, as well as a free online prep system. Our free online test system, allows cadets to take practice exams, review tutorials, and develop their test taking skills.
The online course includes about 50 lessons for the ACT and 60 lessons for the SAT.
