Key Club does not make keys, but we open doors for opportunities to serve our community.

The KEY stands for Kiwanis Educates Youth.

Key Club International is the oldest and largest service program for high school students with 276,000 members in the US and Internationally.

Apollo High School Key Club has been in existence since February 14, 1974. It is part of the Black Canyon Division of ten high schools. Our Division is part of the Southwest District Key Club that covers clubs in Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso, Texas. Kiwanis Club of Glendale is our sponsoring club. They are always looking for new members if any adults are interested.

What makes Key Club so successful is the fact that it is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities. It is a fun and rewarding way to make a difference, learn to lead, and help the children of the world.

Our goals are to build leadership skills, develop character, and foster inclusiveness while caring for the community.

Meetings are every Thursday at 2:45 PM at the Media Center Computer Lab.
