Jerod Aker has been teaching at Apollo since 2006. Prior to teaching at Apollo, Mr. Aker has taught in Silver City, Holbrook, Morenci, and Tolleson.
Jerod Aker has been teaching at Apollo since 2006. Prior to teaching at Apollo, Mr. Aker has taught in Silver City, Holbrook, Morenci, and Tolleson.
Mr. Aker holds a Bachelor’s degree from Western New Mexico University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.

Along with his teaching duties Mr. Aker is the head baseball coach for the Hawks. Coach Aker has been region coach of the year 8 times in his career and his teams have made the playoffs for 19 years reaching the semifinals three times and the final 8 two times. Coach Aker currently has over 400 wins and his teams continue to grind it out and find success in the classroom and on the field.
