To find out if you live in our boundaries, click HERE to access GUHSD's Attendance Boundaries Map. Enter your address, then click on “Find my school.” If you live within the "orange" boundaries, Valhalla High School is your assigned high school.

DO YOU LIVE OUTSIDE VHS BOUNDARIES BUT IN GUHSD?

If you live outside of Valhalla's attendance boundaries, you can request that your student attend Valhalla High School AFTER registering with GUHSD during the School Choice window: December 2, 2024 to February 28, 2025. Click HERE for an overview of the School Choice process. 

DO YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE GUHSD DISTRICT?

If your student lives outside our district boundaries, you will need to go to the district office of your home school and ask for a transfer request to Grossmont Union High School District with the desired school as Valhalla High School.

WHAT IF A SIBLING CURRENTLY ATTENDS VALHALLA?

If you live outside of Valhalla's boundaries, you still have to register your student and make a School Choice request.  However, students with siblings in the same household who will be attending at the same time will have priority placement during the School Choice window. 

WHAT IF YOU MISS THE SCHOOL CHOICE WINDOW?

If you miss the School Choice window and you do not live in our boundaries, you can request to attend Valhalla if you have a documented hardship. After registering with GUHSD, visit your assigned home school and follow the Administrative Exception process.
