Program Specifics

Daily and Weekly Schedule

Every Monday is a late start day for Valhalla unless otherwise noted. On Mondays, school will begin at 9:45am and be released at 2:09pm. Tues-Fri school times are 8:45am-2:00pm. On minimum days, school times are from 8:45am-11:54am. Please refer to 2018-2019 Bell Schedule for the minimum day dates.

Lunch

School lunch is available for purchase or free/reduced (based on income) at the campus cafeteria. Most Friday's your student has the opportunity to purchase lunch in the community if you would like to send money. We also encourage healthy eating habits for our students, therefore it is a class rule that they are only allowed to purchase soda on Fridays.

Transportation

Provided by the districts transportation department to/from school if indicated in student's IEP. During the school day students walk/ride public transit or school bus to/from community activities. Riding in district van driven by staff once permission slip has been signed by parent/guardian. Each student is provided with a compass card to access public transportation.
