9/11: Game at Hilltop H.S. (555 Claire Ave, Chula Vista, CA). Freshman & JV start at 4:00pm and Varsity starts at about 5:30ish. Early out for all players is 2:30pm (unless They get out of school at 2:32pm or earlier).

8/19: Home game vs Grossmont. Fresh/Jv start at 5pm. All players should be in the gym setting up by 3:45pm. Fresh/JV must stay until after Varsity warm-ups. This is also our first Secrete Sister day.
8/20: Normal practice for all teams
8/21: Away game at Coronado H.S. Fresh/Jv start at 4:30pm. Players should be no later than 3:45pm ready to go. All players (if applicable) will have an early out from school at 2:45pm to allow them enough time to get to Coronado H.S. Varsity will play after the Fresh/Jv games. Coronado H.S. is located at 650 D Ave. City of Coronado.

8/7: Parent/Player Meeting was held-We need to have all signed parent/player handbook and CIF Code of Ethics forms by the end of this week. If you missed this meeting, please review the CIF Sportsmanship video (3 min) by clicking HERE.
8/11: All teams will be learning Score Book and Libero Tracker at practice from 4pm-5pm. After the book training, both the JV and Freshman teams are invited to stay and play Queens with Varsity from 5pm-6m. Staying for Queens is optional for JV and Freshman but mandatory for Varsity. Teams will be mixed up between the three levels. Varsity's practice will end at 6pm this day.
8/12: Normal practice times for all levels.
8/13: Team Photos from 4pm-5pm. After photos, both the JV and Freshman teams are invited to stay and play Queens with Varsity from 5pm-6m. Staying for Queens is optional for JV and Freshman but mandatory for Varsity. Teams will be mixed up between the three levels. Varsity's practice will end at 6pm this day.
8/14: Normal practice for all levels.
8/15: Normal practice for all levels.
8/16: VARSITY has a tournament at Steele Canyon H.S. You can view the schedule by clicking HERE. Varsity will receive an additional email with more details about this tournament.

Our first home match is on August 19th. Please consider donating snack bar items to be sold at our non-League home matches. You can drop off items during any practice. In addition, we need volunteers to work both the snack bar and the entry gate. We need two volunteers working the snack bar and two working the entry gate. At least one adult must be present at each table for the duration of the shift, the other position can be filled by a responsible minor. If you volunteer, your entry fee is waived for that day. Please share the entry fees with your family, friends or anyone else you invite to our matches. Entry fees are collected at home and away matches.
Entry Fees are set by the Grossmont Union High School District and are as follows:
Adults- $5
Kids 6-13- $3. Under 5 is free.
Senior Citizens- $3
Home School Students with ASB Card- Free
Visiting Students with ASB Card- $3

There will be a mandatory player/parent meeting on:
Aug 7th, at 7pm in the Santana gym. We will try to keep it to 30 minutes or less.
Please review the Santana Volleyball Handbook prior to the meeting. I am saving trees and money by providing the handbooks digitally and not printing them this year. Please note any questions you have and bring them up at the meeting. I will have printed copies of the last page which is required to be signed by both a parent and the player in order for the student to participate in the volleyball program. There will also be a CIF Ethics form that must be signed by both a parent and the player.
