I was born and raised in Chula Vista and live there to this day. I graduated from Bonita Vista High School. I attended Southwestern College (a J.C.) and then transferred to San Diego State University. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, my teaching credential, and my Master's degree in Mathematics Education from SDSU. GO AZTECS!

I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have three children. Nick is a freshman at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, Joe is getting ready to enlist in the Air Force and Jadyn is a senior at Granite Hills High School. In our spare time, (HA... what's that?) we like to hike, go long boarding (skateboarding), stand-up paddle boarding or restore our 1964 Nova SS or 2000 Camaro Z28 convertible.

I am the biggest P!nk fan on the planet. I have seen her live 10 times, and my dream of meeting her came true in February 2019.
