Our Safe Place

Our Safe Place (OSP) is a welcoming LGBTQ+ community center for youth up to age 21 and their families. South Bay Community Services is a proud OSP partner, providing virtual and in-person support to youth, including those who may be experiencing increased feelings of stress and isolation during this time.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25.

Trans Lifeline’s Hotline is a peer support service run by trans people, for trans and questioning callers. Their operators are located all over the U.S. and are all trans-identified. If you are in crisis or just need someone to talk to, even if it’s just about whether or not you’re trans, you can feel free to call and they can help connect you with support.

LGBT Community COVID Resource Guide

San Diego Pride works to create a safe environment for LGBTQ youth to thrive. San Diego Pride hosts several LGBTQ+ programs for young people, both virtual and in-person.

Trans Family Support Services

TransFamily Support Services guides transgender/non-binary youth and their families through the gender transitioning process to help make it the most positive experience possible. Virtual support is offered and services are provided at no fee.
