This semester we will be covering the Next Generation Science standards (NGSS) for Earth Science focusing specifically on on Earth’s Place in the Universe (Big Bang Theory, Stars, The Sun, & Solar System) and Earth’s Systems (Plate Tectonics, Earth’s Interior, Natural Disasters, Human Activity). Second semester we will find ourselves focusing on Earth's Systems (Feedback Systems, Biogeochemical Cycles, Natural Resources), and Earth and Human Activity (Atmosphere, Climate Change, Coevolution, & Biodiversity).
