Career Technical Ed. (CTE) Pathway Wheel
Experience an introduction to three of our CTE Pathways throughout your freshman year, before having the opportunity to officially join one of our CTE Pathways in your sophomore year.
Arts, Media, and Entertainment
Learn about Video, Audio, and Event Production. Learn camera operation, Adobe Creative Cloud, and much more.
Restaurant Services
Learn about restaurant and culinary occupations, and learn culinary skills to use in your job and your life.
Welding & Fabrication
Students learn hands-on fundamentals of metal fabrication and the welding construction industry.
Art
Students will be exposed to various styles of art and different techniques for creating art. Students will learn to design original artworks using the elements and principals of design as they relate to drawing and painting.
Theatre
Beginning Drama will introduce you to the world of Theatre. You will learn the history and language of theatre, and create and perform your own scenes with classmates. You will also analyze modern plays and learn basic set design and creation.
Competitive Speech and Debate
This course introduces students to basic speech and debate terminology, and how performance and public speaking skills can be used to impact an audience. This course counts as a performing art and is open to all levels.
Global Music
In this performance class you will learn music and instruments from various cultures. You will perform on and off campus.
Spanish (1st year)
Students learn everything from the basics to advanced language over the levels of Spanish provided.
Spanish for Spanish Speakers
Spanish for Spanish Speakers is designed to help native speakers become more proficiently bilingual.
Arabic
Students learn the basic grammatical structure of the language in its cultural context through a variety of activities, as well as carrying on simple conversations. General emphasis on listening and speaking.
Arabic for Arabic Speakers
Arabic for Arabic Speakers is designed to help native speakers become more proficiently bilingual.
Beginning Guitar
This course teaches you how to play the guitar. This class offers instruction in basic techniques such as note reading and fingering.
Percussion Ensemble
This performance course teaches you to play marching percussion and traditional drums. You will participate in fall pep/marching band, assemblies, winter drumline, and concerts/festivals.
Concert Band
This performance course teaches you to play traditional brass and woodwind instruments. You will participate in fall pep/marching band, assemblies, and concerts/festivals.
Rock Band
In this performance course, students will learn and play contemporary popular music using rock band instruments.
Ceramics
This course teaches students how to make three dimensional pieces of art using clay.
Jewelry
This course teaches students how to make jewelry and sculptural objects.
Voice
This performance class is for students who are interested in singing and music fundamentals. You will sing individually and in groups and perform in concerts.
AVID

Yearbook
This course is for students who are interested in helping to produce the ECVHS yearbook. All phases of production, including financing, are covered. Students collect the materials, design, contact the publisher, secure student payments and deliver the completed yearbook.
