A few interesting facts about me...
I am a Doctor of Education! I earned my Doctorate degree at SDSU in Science Teacher Leadership. (2025)
The 2024-25 school year will be my 13th year teaching and my 11th year at West Hills High School.
I was the West Hills High School Teacher of the Year for 2024-25!
I had a baby girl in 2022 and she has a name from Harry Potter.
I was born and raised in San Diego.
My grandmother was my principal at Carlton Oaks Elementary School!
I am a proud alum of the West Hills Wolfpack!
I worked in an inorganic chemistry research lab at SDSU.
My masters thesis focused on the synthesis of transition metal nitride molecules and their potential as single-molecule magnets.
I was married on the ultimate pi day (3.14.15) with a Harry Potter themed wedding!
I have a pet cat named Meatball, 5 pet chickens named Sophia, Blanche, Dorothy, Mary Ann, and Big Mama, and two Nigerian Dwarf Goats named Merry and Pippin!
