On your turn, you must draw one card, either the top card from the draw pile or the top card from the discard pile. You then add one card from your hand to the discard pile. This continuous process of drawing and discarding allows you to improve your hand.
When you have arranged all your cards into valid sets and sequences, you may declare “Rummy” by placing your hand on the table. Your combinations are verified, and if correct, you win the round. Opponents’ unmelded cards are then counted as points against them, with face cards worth 10 points, Aces worth 15, and numbered cards worth their face value.
The key to success lies in keen observation and smart discarding. Pay attention to what cards your opponents pick from the discard pile to guess their plans, and avoid discarding cards that might help them complete their combinations.
