About Mrs. Walsh: I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Thiel College in 2009 and have been teaching ever since! I began my career in public school, but knew my true calling was to teach in the Catholic School environment. I am a product of Catholic education having attended St. Margaret of Scotland School & Bishop Canevin High School.

St Rosalia Academy, St. John Bosco Academy, St. Bernard, St. Margaret of Scotland School, and Sacred Heart Elementary

• Diocesan Accreditation to teach Religion

• Certified Catechist Mentor to teachers within the Diocese of Pittsburgh Elementary Schools

Beyond the Classroom:

• "Hatch the Chicken" hands-on Science collaboration with "Rent the Chicken"

• "Seedlings for Schools" partnership with the PA Game Commission's Howard Nursery

• co-planned monthly School Rosary Prayer Services and Eucharistic Adoration Holy Hours

• co-planned the annual Advent Program

• Morning Announcements Advisor - student broadcasted live from my classroom daily. 8th Grade students lead the entire school live with announcements and prayers

• 2023-2024 school year - served as an Internal Coordinator for our Middle States Accreditation visit
