Who's Mrs. Bayley?

Hello! I was born and raised in North County. I went to Cal State San Marcos and graduated with a bachelor degree in history and German and a masters in education. After graduating, I moved to the Bay Area and taught 7th grade social science for three years. It was there that I met my husband--Mr. Bayley--and we moved back to San Diego to be closer to family. I taught English and ELD in Spring Valley before teaching at Guajome for the last three years!

When teaching social science, I want my students to study the events of the past to gain an understanding how they impact the world we live in today. I also want my students to think critically, and most importantly ask questions!

In my free time, I like to spend time with my family. Mr. Bayley and I just welcomed our first child this summer and love being his parents! We like to hike with our dog, spend time with friends, and go to our local gym!
