The Electrical Engineering program was started in the year of 1989. 

Department encompasses 16 teaching faculties (one InCharge HOD and 15 lecturers) with adequate qualification & experience. Electrical department has requisite space for teaching-learning along with equipped laboratories. At present, the Department consists of Electrical Machine lab, Electronics lab, Electrical Circuit and Instrumentation lab, Electrical Power lab, Electrical Workshop, Computer and Language lab, Project and Model Room. Department has 03 theory classrooms. Three  Multimedia projectors are available in the department (01 in classroom, 01 in laboratory and 01 portable) In addition to classroom theory and laboratory experiment, Distinct mode of teaching learning activities are organized by means of project expo, interactive sessions, industrial visits, expert lecturers, internships, webinars, virtual labs etc.
