Course Outline

Course Description: Introduction to the basic tools in GTSR's shop space. This includes where everything is, how to use the tools, and best use cases for discussed tools.

Prereqs

• Functional limb(s)

Covered Topics

1) Safety:

• • Use of PPE

  • Buddy System

  • Clean-up

2) Main Space Tools (Location and Use):

• Angle Grinder

• Calipers

• Dremels

• Drills

• Saws (band, hand)

• Scissors

• Screw Drivers

• Stock

• Wrench (Combination, Hex/Allen Key, Socket)

3) Beyond Wall (Location and Use):

• Saws (Chop, Miter)

• Wild Drill bits
