Assign yourself a clear profile picture of yourself (to know who you are)
Put major, year, “recruit”, pronouns, and a fun/weird fact about yourself
Look at the question ‘How to join the SCC Slack?’
Note: It is extra recommended to download the desktop and the app version of Slack for a better viewing experience, notice of announcements, and access rides.

How do I organize the channels and notifications on Slack?
Recommended to unmute certain channels but not subteam or division channels as this out main
Place ‘notify only’ on mentions & DMs and set certain important channels like access, announcements, and maybe your home team & subteam to ‘notify always’.
Way to get access to the shop from campus with the help of members with cars
React to messages from members with cars, they will likely post before shop about times and pick-up locations on campus.
Important announcements from any member on Solar.

Productivity platform for project management
Keeps track of: Projects, People, Priorities, Deadlines, Blockers, etc.
Also works as one of the main GTSR sources of documentation
Before leaving shop, leave a comment on your project’s card with the following information: (only one person from each project has to add an update, but make sure it reflects everything that has been done)
Commenter(s): [Who is typing this update comment?]
Today’s updates: [What was accomplished today? Did everything go according to plan or did something unexpected affect your progress?]
Next shop: [When will you be at shop next and what are your goals for then? Try to clarify objectives as best as you can based on the last developments]
Blockers/Support: [Is there anything keeping your project from moving forward? Do you need additional technical support/guidance from anyone, in or outside your subteam?]
Subdivided into Teams > Subteams > Tasks
<- Ex. Subdivision of Solar Teams on Clickup
Example ClickUp Card
DON’T store or organize information solely on ClickUp such as in the comments
Tag or link information with updated document filed in GTSR Google Drive
Surprisingly, only works if we make it work:
Keep it up to date!
Status, priority, checklists
Comment away
Infinitely easier to trace back design decisions and considerations
Catch: accessible regardless of context
Frequency
Weekly updates as a minimum
Division meetings
Don’t archive: close or mothball it!
