Proper grammar is required.
Remember capitalization rules, singular vs. plural, etc.
Students create their own study tool/guide.
Possible options and instructions are below.
Students are not limited to these options.
1} Traditional flash cards/ index cards:
* Each card should have your initials, Core class, and label (i.e.-- Ch. 3 vocabulary).
* Number each card-- term on one side/definition and part of speech on other side
2} Traditional paper/pencil:
**Write on blue lines only. Do not extend your notes in margins (including header and footer).**
MLA formatted heading
Label (i.e.-- Ch. 3 vocabulary)
Number each term and either highlight or underline the term
Skip lines between each term
3} Google Apps
Slide presentation:
Title presentation: your first name/ last initial, class, label
Ex: Kathy F SS Core 2 Ch. 3 vocab
First slide should contain:
MLA heading and label (i.e.- Ch. 3 vocabulary)
Remaining slides- terms and definitions/part of speech
Most helpful as a study tool........ Type your term and definition/part of speech on separate slides and put a transition between the slides
Then it would act as an actual flash card and become a better study tool
Google Doc
Title document: your first name/ last initial, class, label
Ex: Kathy F SS Core 2 Ch. 3 vocab
same format as traditional paper and pencil (listed above)
I would suggest using a header as well to help organize your materials. ASK if you don't know how to do this.
4} StudyStack/Flash card app
Label set --i.e. SS Ch. 3 vocab
Remember to follow proper grammar rules.
