Revision History Trick

Have you ever had a student say, "Johnny deleted my work from the project." You go to revision history to restore the work only to find out it wasn't the last step done. Now what do you do?

The following "Copying and Paste Hack" will help to restore the information.

DIRECTIONS for COPYING and PASTE HACK

  1. Open a Google Slides Presentation
  2. Click File
  3. Select Revision History
  4. Click the "Show more detailed revisions" button
  5. Click a restore point
  6. In view panel right click and copy the slide
  7. Click Arrow to leave revision history
  8. Right Click under slide
  9. Select paste

This hack may be used to copy and paste lost paragraphs in a Google Doc.
