New to Twitter?

Check out this guide to get started! If you're not on Twitter YET, please do not let that dissuade you from our book study. Start your growth now, and you will be amazed at how much you can learn, even while "lurking" on Twitter.

Twitter will be our primary form of communication, so once you have your account, follow #R10EDU to connect and share your learning!

Pro-tip: if you need to Tweet more than 140 characters, create a graphic, or simply write out your text on a post-it, and snap a picture!

If you have trouble getting started on Twitter, please let us know, and we'll find ways to assist you.

#BookSnaps

Throughout the study, we will incorporate #BookSnaps to capture your favorite quotes or reflections from the book.

See the blogpost from Tara M. Martin for more details and how-tos. (You may use any platform to capture your images and annotations!)

How to #BookSnap

As you read, take a picture (or screenshot) of a page, a paragraph, or a sentence that resonates with you. Highlight a portion of text, annotate your image, or create another graphic of a favorite quote.

Share your image on Twitter, and include the hashtags #R10EDU and #BookSnaps. Tweet a #BookSnap any time you want to reflect and share your reading.

You may simply take a picture of your book page and annotate the text, add notes, stickers, or mark-ups (using your phone tools).

If you want to try something new, the examples below used 3 different platforms to annotate the text. Choose what works best for you!
