Making an Interactive Quiz

A usual presentation is linear which mean that each slide follows on from the previous. This is like when reading a book, each page follows from the previous page.

To create an interactive quiz you need to make your presentation non-linear.

When have you experience something that is non-linear?

How can we create something that is non-linear using the tools that we have?

Challenge 1

Using Google, YouTube or PowerPoint Help, find out how to use the following tools in PowerPoint.

  • Action Buttons
  • Guide Lines
  • Animation Triggers

Answer the following questions:

  • How can you add text to an action button?
  • How can you make a button disappear once it has been clicked?
  • How can you align your buttons accurately on the screen?
