Bryan Price is the owner and founder of GTP Wellness Consulting, L.L.C. Bryan’s dedication to fitness, urban line dancing, and racial equity drives his commitment to healthy living.
Bryan also is a Program Manager for the Virginia Rural Health Association. In his role as Program Manager, Bryan champions Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) to address health disparities in nutrition, physical activity, and breastfeeding for Danville, VA's minority communities. He previously worked with the University of Virginia’s Cancer Center as Program Coordinator for the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and with the Office of Community Outreach and Engagement.
A native of Danville, Virginia and currently residing in South Boston, Virginia, with his husband, Craig, Bryan studied Statistics, Mathematics and Computer Science at Virginia Tech.
Bryan is a Racial Equity Institute Phase I and II graduate, the former Health Equity Task Force Chair and Advocacy Chair for the Health Collaborative of the Dan River Region. He is the former Board Chair of Equality Virginia and was the Co-Chair of the Racial Justice Committee for the organization. Bryan was a founding member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee for the UVA Cancer Center.
Bryan is also a board member of The Health Collaborative of the Dan River Region, Regional Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention, Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth Southwest Advisory Board, National Rural Health Association’s Rural Health Equity Board, The Lean-In Project, Virginia Public Health Association and the Virginia Tech Ex Lapide Society. He is a graduate of the 2018 Class of LEAD Virginia and 2021 graduate of the National Rural Health Association’s Rural Health Fellows program. He was also appointed by former Virginia Governor Ralph Northam to serve on the Commonwealth’s inaugural LGBTQ+ Advisory Council.
