RIGHTS

You have the right to representation from the Association at any meeting or conference with an Administrator that you feel may affect you in a negative manner. Click here to view Association Representatives in your building.

Your Association Reps are available to read and help you respond to conversations and evaluations. Responses are encouraged if you are not in agreement with part or all of it. Please ask for assistance in writing your rebuttal.

Members are not to attend any workshop or conference (at the request of administration) beyond the contractual day without appropriate compensation.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Please remember to keep track of your hours. Also make sure your PIP aligns with your professional development. You can change your PIP at any time. Any questions consult a member of the Local Professional Development Committee.

DYFS ALERT

If you are accused of child abuse:

1.  Remain SILENT!

2. Call Jenna Smith (ext. 5108) or the UNI-SERVE office (652-9200). Someone will get you an attorney.

3.  Put nothing in writing.

4.  Never sign what someone else writes up about the incident.

5.  Do NOT meet with DYFS without an attorney.

DO NOT DISCUSS THE MATTER WITH ANYONE EXCEPT AN ATTORNEY!
