Parent Newsletter number 7 18.10.24
It was lovely to see so many of you earlier this week at the Parent Consultations. It is always such a joy to celebrate your children's successes and achievements with you.
Today we took part in 'Just One Tree' alongside many other schools in Barnet. It was brilliant to see so many children getting involved. Thank you to the Environmental Team for organising this and thank you to our school community for supporting this important event.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Reading Ambassador
Being a Reading Ambassador is a very important role and we are delighted that our twelve ambassadors will be sharing their passion for reading with others this year!
We welcome Maia, Ariyana, Aydin, Ayana, Sofia, Leon, Lamees, Amelia, Ivan, Larissa, Kamile and Ashwene to our dedicated reading team.
We know that all the above pupils are looking forward to their new responsibility and sharing their passion of reading with others across Brunswick Park.
Brunswick Park Book Club for Year 1, 2 and 3 will commence on Wednesday 6th November. Details are to the right.
Halloween Menu
On Friday 25th October our kitchen will be serving a Halloween menu. Please see the menu.
PTA News
Christmas Fair 6th December 2024 4.30pm-7.30pm
Please see the dates for the diary below with details of non uniform days in exchange for donations.
This year the PTA have decided to do something a little different.
Hampers
We are kindly requesting each class to prepare a hamper with items donated by parents/carers to be given as a raffle prize for this year’s Christmas Fair. Each class could pick a fun theme for this, for example;
Games for all the family,
Health and Beauty,
Happy Holidays,
Pamper package,
Kids Hamper, etc.
Any food items must be vegetarian, contain no nuts or seeds. Please let your class rep know if you have any suggestions, and support them with putting this together. This is a group effort where children and parents can get involved.
The children in the class with the best hamper will get a special treat!
The deadline for the raffles hamper is Friday 29th November 2024
Market Stalls
We would like to have a market stall at our Christmas Fair
If parents have small businesses or know anyone that would be interested and would like to book a stall, please contact the PTA at brunswickparkpta@gmail.com
