The Rock Steady rock stars kickstarted the week by performing in their final concert of the school year. I was blown away by their courage - they performed with such energy and confidence. A big well done to all our Rock Steady superstars!
We were delighted that Key Stage 2's Sports Day went ahead this week! The children had a brilliant time participating in a range of events, whilst demonstrating our special school values. Thank you to all parents and carers who came along to support on the day, our super staff who helped out, and to our brilliant Brunswick Park PE team for organising another spectacular Sports Day.

Year 1
This week Year 1 had a wonderful time visiting the RAF museum in Hendon to link to their learning on the history of flight. They took part in a brilliant workshop and the leader was very impressed by their knowledge of the Wright brothers and the materials that different planes were made out of. They particularly enjoyed the big aeroplanes that they could go inside!
Year 3- Crumble
Year 3 have perfected their cutting and peeling skills this week with their apple and fruit crumble.
Everyone enjoyed the experience, leaving empty bowls to be washed. We definitely have some candidates for the next Master Chef!
3A- Stir Fry
A huge well done to 3A for their delicious stir-fry they made on Wednesday. From the fantastic chopping skills to the empty plates, it was a complete success. What a great way to end the year! Well done!
Year 6
Key Stage 2 SATs results were published this week. We congratulate all pupils on their excellent achievements, as well as the wonderful team who have supported them. Well done Year 6!
Owly
Giant owls will be swooping into Haringey this summer for a fun, free, family-friendly art trail. From 17th August and for eight weeks, you can download a free app or pick up a paper map and have fun following the trail of 30 unique, bright and colourful giant owls and over 20 little owls, including ours. Each large owl has been designed by a different artist including one by famous children’s author Rob Biddulph, one by TV personality Matt Lucas and two by very famous local football clubs! Will you be able to find them all and which one will be your favourite?
During the trail you can find our owl at Hornsey Library. At the end of the trail all the large owls will be auctioned in the autumn to fundraise for North London Hospice and ours will be returned for us to keep as a memento of our involvement.
Excitingly your owl will also form part of a mini trail preview at Brent Cross Shopping Centre from Monday 15th July until Saturday 3rd August where shoppers can pick up a trail map and find 15 owls around the shopping centre.
