We have had another amazing week at Brunswick Park!
Mrs Sem and I had a brilliant time joining maths lessons across the school! We were wowed by everyone's positive attitude to learning, hard work and mathematical reasoning. Keep it up Brunswick Park!
Last night, I had the pleasure of watching the Brunswick Park Choir perform at the Barnet Music Festival 2025. They sang absolutely beautifully and shone brightly - I was incredibly proud. Well done to everyone involved! A big thank you to Miss Coleman for helping the choir prepare for the performance and to the adults who supported on the day.
We wish you a wonderful weekend!
Weather
The forecast is looking good again next week. Please make sure you apply sun cream to your child before they come to school. Please also ensure that all children have a sun hat and water bottle.
School Uniform
Please be reminded that children should wear correct uniform at all times, including PE kit. Long hair should be tied back. Children should not wear sandals to school or wear any jewellery apart from a watch (no smart watches) or small plain stud earrings. Children must not wear hoop earrings under any circumstances - this is to keep children safe from injury. We thank you for your understanding.
The Five Pound Challenge
Brunswick Park Children are doing 'The Five Pound Challenge!'
Our Mission: Empowering our children to discover, develop and celebrate their mathematical entrepreneurial skills and potential.
We want every child to have the opportunity to learn the vital skills in financial literacy and give them the chance to earn and look after their money.
The Big Idea: With just a £5 initial investment classes must create, market, organise and financially manage their own business with the intention of making a profit.
Date: Class Stalls will be out on Thursday 10th of July (after school). Please have change at the ready!
The class with the greatest profit will win a non-school uniform day filled with fun as well as special certificates awarded to each child in that class.
Book Corner
Reading Ambassador Book Recommendation:
The best thing about reading is being able to talk with friends about the mysteries you discover, such as those in ‘Super Sleuth’ and ‘The Beast of Buckingham Palace’ by David Walliams.
My favourite book at the moment is ‘Best Friends’ by Jacqueline Wilson because the girls have been friends since they were born.
Being friends with someone actually makes me happy.
I love this book because the adventures they get up to together are very funny.
I think you will enjoy this book because the girls have been companions for a long time. Their friendship is strong!
My favourite author at present is Jacqueline Wilson.
I would like to read ‘Queenie’ next.
