I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued kindness. The tremendous outpouring of love and support this week has been heartwarming. We are truly blessed to be part of such a compassionate and brilliant Brunswick Park community. A huge Brunswick thank you to everyone involved in setting up and donating on the JustGiving page. We are overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity.
As Mr Griffiths said yesterday in his message, we will continue to do our utmost to provide our families with a safe and nurturing place of learning.
I wish you a wonderful weekend and look forward to seeing you on Monday.
During Monday’s assembly, Mrs. Sem gave a presentation about Ramadan and why it is important to Muslims. She explained what Ramadan is and the things Muslims do during this special month. Our assembly next Monday will be all about Eid and what happens during this festival.
Year 2 were thrilled to share their fantastic instructional writing with Year 1 this week! They created step-by-step guides on how to make vibrant African masks, helping younger pupils bring their creations to life. Later, they welcomed parents to admire both the beautifully crafted masks and the wonderful writing behind them. A great celebration of creativity and learning!
All schools in Barnet have a Learning Network Inspector who visit schools throughout the year. This week, we were visited by our Learning Network Inspector who came to see and celebrate the brilliant teaching and learning at Brunswick Park. As part of the visit, Miss McCafferty (our science subject leader), our Learning Network Inspector and I popped into classrooms to see science lessons. We were all incredibly impressed with our Brunwick Park scientists. Once again, she commented on the wonderful lessons and the excellent attitude towards learning that children have. We are so proud of everyone at Brunswick Park.
Today, we boogied at Brunswick Park as our school hall was transformed into an 80s disco in aid of Comic Relief! We all had so much fun partying! A big Brunswick thank you to everyone who donated to this brilliant charity, and to Miss Heath and School Council for organising another successful event for all of us to enjoy.
Reading Corner
Once again, thank you to everyone who came along to our Book Fair last week.
We can now announce that we made a grand total of £620.02 to go towards new books.
Reading Ambassador Book Recommendation.
The best thing about reading is the happiness it creates inside you. It is very enjoyable.
My favourite book at the moment is Harry Potter and the Worse Witch because they are about magical adventures.
I love these because they are all adventures with magical characters.
I think you will enjoy this book because it makes you feel like you want to read more.
My favourite authors at present are J.K Rowling, Jill Murphy and Roald Dahl.
I would like to read ‘Dotty Detective’ by Clara Vulliamy next.
Thank You
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone involved in setting up and donating on the Just Giving page. It is so touching to see parents and the community coming together!
