My name is Sara Stanley and I will be teaching Math 7, English 7 & Science 7 this year at École J. E. Lapointe School. This will be my 12th year teaching and my fifth year at this school! I previously taught for the Grande Prairie Public School District for 7 years.

I am originally from the South Shore of Nova Scotia. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary's University, my Bachelor of Education degree from St. Francis Xavier University, and my Master of Inclusive Education degree from Acadia University. In August of 2021, I completed the Indigenous Canada course through the University of Alberta.
