Pumpkin Investigation 

Learning Intention: Objects have measurable properties. 

Learners used snap cubes to measure the height of their pumpkin.

Learners used a piece of string and popsicle sticks to measure the distance around their pumpkin.

Learning Intention: Skip count to 100, forward by 10s, starting at 0.

Learners used ten frames to sort and county by 10s. There were over one thousands seeds all together! 

MONSTER MASH

Learning Intention: Add numbers up to a sum of 12

Learners enjoyed a friendly game of Monster Mash! Working with partners, they took turns rolling two dice, adding the totals, and colouring the corresponding sum on their game boards. The goal was to be the first to get four in a row.
