An activity in Financial Literacy - Shopping with a plan: What is the cost of your lunch? We pretended that we were starting with nothing, and had to buy containers of food plus produce, juice and bread. It was enlightening to the students to see how much their choices actually cost. Thanks to the online grocery ordering process at Walmart for our prices.
