The Sports Club of GSFC University, established in March 2017, stands as one of the most vibrant and active student-managed clubs on campus. With an unwavering commitment to building a culture of sportsmanship, fitness, teamwork, and holistic growth, the club has evolved into a central platform where passion for sports meets opportunities for leadership and personal development.

Best Club Award (2023):The Sports Club was honored with the Best Club Award on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day Celebration (2023). The award was presented by Honourable President, Shri P. K. Tandeja (IAS Retd.), in recognition of the club’s outstanding contribution to student engagement, sports promotion, and holistic development at GSFC University.
Intra–University Football Tournament, 27th Sep 2025
The Sports Club of GSFC University successfully hosted the Intra-University Football Tournament on 27th September 2025, with an inspiring participation of 17 energetic teams. The tournament commenced with an encouraging address by the Respected Provost and concluded with an electrifying prize distribution ceremony led by the Registrar, celebrating the grit, teamwork, and sportsmanship demonstrated by every player. In the boys’ category, the School of Technology emerged as the winner, with the School of Management as the runner-up. In the girls’ category, the School of Management claimed the championship, while the School of Technology secured the runner-up position.
Intra-University Basketball Tournament, 20th Sep 2025
The Sports Club proudly hosted the Intra-University Basketball Tournament on 20th September 2025 with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The event witnessed intense competition and remarkable teamwork across both men’s and women’s categories. In the men’s category, the School of Technology emerged as Champions, while the School of Management secured the Runner-Up position. In the women’s category, the Nexus Team claimed the Championship title, followed by the Slam Dunkers as Runner-Up. Adding to the excitement, the Best Player Award was presented to Vraj Desai in the men’s category and Meswa Soni in the women’s category, recognizing their outstanding performances throughout the tournament.

The Intra-University Badminton Tournament, held on 30th August 2025, witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 200 students and staff, beginning with a collective fitness pledge to stay healthy and inspire families and society to adopt an active lifestyle. The tournament was conducted with great energy and excitement across different categories, including Men’s Singles (Students), Women’s Singles (Students), Men’s Singles (Staff), and Women’s Singles (Staff). The event not only encouraged competitive spirit but also promoted the values of fitness, teamwork, and an active way of life.
Intra-University Chess Tournament, 02nd Aug 2025
The Intra-University Chess Tournament 2025 was held on 2nd August and witnessed the participation of more than 50 talented students. The event showcased a remarkable display of strategy, focus, and sportsmanship throughout the matches. Bhrugu Yagnik, a 4th-year student of B.Tech CSE, emerged as the Champion, while Aryan Shah, a 3rd-year student of B.Tech Chemical Engineering, secured the Runner-Up position. The tournament not only highlighted the intellectual spirit of the participants but also reinforced the importance of patience, concentration, and tactical thinking in competitive games.
International Yoga Day Celebration, 21st Jun 2025
