The Mathematics Club at GSFC University is a vibrant, student–managed club dedicated to exploring the beauty and applications of mathematics beyond the classroom. The Club organizes interactive events such as quizzes, workshops, puzzle championships, and guest talks to promote problem-solving, logical reasoning, and creative thinking.
Objectives:
Make mathematics engaging, relatable, and fun while strengthening critical thinking and analytical skills.
Foster teamwork, innovation, and appreciation of mathematics in real-life contexts.
Create a positive academic impact across disciplines through club activities.

MEGA MATH HOUSIE CHALLENGE-2, 27th Jan. 2025
Mega Math Housie Challenge-2 was an exciting math-based housie game that tested students’ knowledge, speed, and accuracy. Out of 54 registrations, 48 students participated, solving real-life math problems to strike numbers on their tickets. With time-bound questions, the first to complete the housie with correct answers was declared the winner, followed by the runner-up. The event fostered quick thinking, problem-solving, and enthusiastic participation.
MEGA MATH HOUSIE CHALLENGE, 06th Oct. 2021
Mega Math Housie Challenge, organized by the Mathematics Club on 6th October 2021 via Google Meet, blended the fun of housie with mathematics. Participants solved math questions to strike off numbers on their tickets, and winners were declared based on maximum deductions and ticket completion. The event saw enthusiastic participation and creative engagement.
FUNDA-A-MATH, 27-29 Jan. 2021
Funda-A-Math, organized by the Mathematics Club, was a two-round online quiz event covering reasoning, aptitude, and basic mathematics. The first round was held on Quizzes with live interaction via Google Meet, where a leaderboard was displayed after each question. The top 20 participants advanced to the second round, conducted on Kahoot! through Google Meet.
