The Indian Heritage Club fosters cultural awareness, preserves heritage, and promotes student engagement with India’s rich traditions. The club celebrates the nation’s diverse cultural identity through academic, artistic, and experiential activities. From debates, workshops, and heritage walks to cultural festivals, the club nurtures awareness, responsibility, and appreciation for Indian traditions. The club connects students to their roots while nurturing socially responsible, culturally sensitive, and community-oriented future leaders.
Objectives:
To deepen students’ knowledge of Indian culture and diversity through events, field visits, and ECHOES travel experiences.
To revive and sustain traditional practices, arts, festivals, and crafts by blending Heritage Club activities with ECHOES immersion.
To sensitize students towards sustainable heritage conservation and social responsibility through projects, collaborations, and fieldwork.
To create a collaborative platform uniting students across disciplines in cultural exploration, leadership, and civic engagement.

ITIHAAS KI AAWAZ, 15th Sep 2025
“Itihaas ki Awaaz” is designed to provide GSFC University students with a distinguished platform to celebrate and convey India’s rich heritage. Through this competition, students will have the opportunity to present original or curated stories and poems that explore cultural themes, historical narratives, and personal reflections on heritage.

Indian Heritage Club successfully hosted “Heritage Connect” in observance of World Heritage Day on 22nd April, 2025 in collaboration with Atulya Varso an NGO focused On heritage conservation. The event attracted participation from 69 students, 12 volunteers and faculty members.
