The Environment Club of GSFC University, founded in January 2020, is a student-driven initiative committed to sustainability and eco-friendly practices. Through tree plantation, waste management, awareness campaigns and green projects, it nurtures a culture of environmental responsibility. The club aligns with the University’s Vision and Mission by fostering socially responsible, industry-ready graduates. It encourages creativity, innovation and adaptability while shaping environmentally conscious professionals and future leaders prepared to address global challenges.
Objectives:
Promote Sustainability through eco-friendly practices and green initiatives on campus.
Raise Environmental Awareness among students, staff and the community.
Encourage Innovation by supporting projects and solutions for environmental challenges.
Integrate Learning with Action through workshops, campaigns and hands-on activities.
Foster Holistic Growth by nurturing responsibility, leadership and social commitment in students.

World Ozone Day: 16th September 2025
The Environment Club (G Force) of GSFC University has organized activities/competitions on 16th September 2025 to commemorate the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer (World Ozone Day).
This day is globally observed to create awareness about the importance of protecting the Ozone layer, which shields life on Earth from harmful ultraviolet radiations. Through engaging and creative student-centered activities, the club aims to spread awareness and encourage environmentally responsible behaviour among the University community.
World Environment Day, 5th June 2025
World Environment Day, observed globally on 5th June every year, is a platform to raise awareness and inspire action for the protection of our environment. To mark this important day, the Environment Club students and NCC cadets of GSFC University jointly organized a tree plantation drive across various locations in Vadodara. The event highlighted the university’s commitment to sustainability, community contribution, and student-led environmental initiatives.
Green Day Celebration, 10th Oct 2025
In line with our commitment to environmental sustainability, Environment Club organized “Green Day” to promote environmental awareness and action among students and staff. “Green Day” aims to cultivate an environmentally responsible mindset through activities that highlight the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability practices. The University community will came together to celebrate nature, promote green practices and took small but impactful steps towards a greener, healthier and more resilient future.
World Environment Day, 5th June 2024
This event was organized by Indian Chemical Council (ICC) in association with Environment Club, GSFC University. The chief guest for the event was Mr. Vikram Singhal, Vice Chairman – ICC Gujarat & President, Gulbrandsen Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Singhal spoke on the importance of awareness amongst youth regarding ecosystem restoration which was the theme for this year’s World Environment Day. The seminar was conducted highlighted the importance of managing various scopes pertaining to the emissions in the chemical industry, India's commitment to the UN's SDGs, the benefits of adopting a circular economy and integrating ESG practices for sustainable growth.

Palash- The Green Fair was organized on the occasion of World Environment Day. The fair had various sections showcasing eco-friendly alternatives in fashion, lifestyle, home products and more. This encouraged students and visitors to adopt greener practices in their daily lives and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Cloth Art Using Nature Elements: 24th March 2023
By organizing this cloth art competition, the college aims to inspire and empower the next generation of artists to use their creativity as a force for positive change, promoting environmental consciousness and a deeper connection with the natural world. The event connected each one of them to the energy of the earth. They communicated to the silent green life by understanding its beauty and expressed that beauty on cloth. The event main aim was to appreciate the best art having maximum nature element.
