The Dance Club of GSFC University established on year 2023 celebrates creativity, unity, and cultural diversity through dance. It provides a platform for students, both trained dancers and beginners, to express themselves confidently while fostering teamwork and discipline. From 2023 to 2025, the club organized major events, including Indigenous Saga and Dance Pe Chance, as well as national celebrations such as Republic Day and Independence Day, showcasing its passion and patriotism. Led by President Ms. Divena Sharma and supported by dedicated faculty mentors, the club continues to enrich campus life with artistic excellence and collaboration.
Objectives:
To provide students a dedicated space for free and joyful self-expression through dance.
To create an inclusive, supportive environment welcoming both trained dancers and enthusiastic newcomers.
To build confidence, teamwork, and a sense of belonging via shared performances and activities.
To celebrate different cultures and dance forms, adding color and diversity to campus life.
To improve skills through regular practice, workshops with professionals, and creative collaborations.
To support and collaborate with other clubs and university events, enriching the campus experience.
To use dance as a medium for storytelling, emotional expression, and spreading joy within and beyond the university.

Independence Day Event at Aanganva - 15 th August 2025
The Dance Club of GSFC University organized a grand cultural performance on the 79th Independence Day, celebrating India’sunity, diversity, and heritage through vibrant dance forms. Students from BBA, B.Sc Data Science, and B.Tech programs showcased creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm, reflecting the spirit of patriotism. The event featured a powerful blend of traditional and contemporary styles, symbolizing courage, pride, and national integrity. A special segment dedicated to Operation Sindoor paid tribute to India’s armed forces, spreading awareness about national security and sacrifice.

Republic Day Event at Aanganva - 26 th January 2025
The Dance Club presented a well-coordinated and impactful patriotic performance that beautifully captured the spirit of the nation. The choreography reflected themes of unity, pride, and respect for India, leaving a strong emotional impression on the audience. Eleven talented student dancers from various schools and disciplines participated, demonstrating their teamwork, dedication, and artistic excellence. The performance was highly appreciated by both the audience and the distinguished guests, highlighting the creativity and commitment of the Dance Club members. Overall, the event stood as a celebration of patriotism, cultural expression, and the vibrant artistic spirit of GSFC University.
Dance Pe Chance at Aanganva - 22nd October 2024
The event featured an exciting lineup of solo, duet, and group performancesacross a variety of dance styles, including contemporary, hip-hop, semi-classical, and Bollywood. The winners were announced as follows: in the solo category, 1st place – Aakash Achari and 2nd place – Milee Bhatt; in thegroup category, 1st place – Divena and group and 2nd place – Meera and group. The competition provided valuable exposure to diverse dance forms, strengthened teamwork, built confidence, and promoted cultural appreciation among participants. It served as an excellent platform for students to express creativity and passion through the art of dance.
Independence Day Event at Aanganva - 15th August 2024
The event was conducted offline and featured vibrant cultural dance performances that celebrated unity and creativity. Organized by Ms. Neeshu Chaudhary and Dr. Yesha Master along with dedicated student organizers, it brought together participants from BBA, B.Com, B.Sc Biotechnology, B.Tech, and BCA streams. Guided by faculty coordinators Dr. Yesha Master and Ms. Neeshu Chaudhary, the event did not involve judges or prizes, focusing instead on participation and expression. It successfully promoted cultural pride, teamwork, creativity, patriotism, and confidence-building among students, fostering a sense of belonging and enthusiasm across the GSFC University community.
Republic Day event at Aanganva - 26th January 2024
The Republic Day celebration at GSFC University was marked by greatenthusiasm as students and faculty united to honor the nation’s spirit. Eleven dancers delivered a powerful contemporary performance that beautifully portrayed patriotism, unity, freedom, and sacrifice. Their graceful movements and expressive choreography reflected deep pride in India’s cultural heritage and progress. The celebration fostered a sense of togetherness and national pride among everyone present. With seamless coordination and support from the university’s administrative department, the event became a memorable tribute to India’s enduring values and the vibrant artistic energy of GSFC University’s Dance Club.
Indigenous Saga Report at Aanganva - 3rd November 2023
The Indigenous Saga event, organized by Dr. Yesha Master with the support of faculty coordinators and student organizers, celebrated the richness of India’s traditional and fusion dance forms. The event featured captivating solo and group performances (3–6 members) by talented participants from BBA, MBA, B.Sc, M.Sc, and B.Tech streams. The performances were evaluated by esteemed judges Dr. Swati Mahapatra and Mr. Jay Joshi, who awarded prizes of ₹1000 each in the Traditional and Fusion categories. Winners included Arya Vrati Vijaysinh and Disha Donga in the solo category, and Team Shakti (Meera Raval and group) in the group category. The event beautifully promoted appreciation for indigenous cultures, artistic diversity, and traditional values, fostering empathy, respect, and pride among participants and the audience alike.
