GSFC University supports student-managed clubs as vital platforms for holistic growth. Among them, the CODE Club fosters passion for coding, software development, and emerging technologies. It provides opportunities to enhance programming skills, encourage innovation, and build teamwork through workshops, hackathons, coding competitions, and seminars.

Prompt to Poster using Gen AI - 19th February 2025
The “Prompt to Poster using Gen AI” competition was conducted on 19th February 2025, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the School of Technology, GSFC University, Vadodara. Designed as a creative challenge, participants used Generative AI tools to convert text prompts into visually striking posters. Students from diverse disciplines showcased their innovation and design skills, while submissions were judged based on creativity, relevance, and overall presentation. The event highlighted the role of AI in artistic expression and design communication, with winners awarded and all participants receiving certificates.

ShellCraft – Mastering Linux, Vim and Docker - 13th Feb 2025
The “ShellCraft” session was held on 13th February 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the SoT Auditorium, School of Technology, GSFC University, Vadodara. The event introduced participants to essential Linux commands, Vim text editing techniques, and Docker fundamentals, along with hands-on exercises to strengthen their practical skills. Attendees engaged in real-world applications of these tools, gaining valuable exposure to industry practices. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, reinforcing the concepts covered and helping students align academic learning with professional requirements.

Debug Duel , 21st Oct. 2024
The “Debug Duel” was organized on 21st October 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Computer Center, School of Technology, GSFC University, Vadodara. This coding competition brought together around 60 students across disciplines to test their debugging and programming skills. The event featured three exciting challenges—Codemoji, Script Shuffle, and unZip—each designed to improve technical proficiency, logical reasoning, and teamwork. By solving unconventional coding puzzles, participants gained valuable problem-solving experience in an engaging and collaborative environment.

Git & GitHub Hands-on Session - 8th Nov 2024
The “Git & GitHub” hands-on workshop, jointly organized by GDSC and CODE Club, took place on 8th November 2023, from 2:00 pm onwards at the SoT Auditorium and Data Engineering Lab, Anviksha, GSFC University, Vadodara. The session aimed to familiarize students with version control systems and collaborative coding practices using Git and GitHub. The program included an introductory talk followed by a practical workshop where participants learned repository management, collaboration workflows, and industry-relevant skills. This event provided attendees with a strong foundation in tools widely used in the software industry.

Technical Janmasthmi , 6th September 2023
The Code Club organized a vibrant Janmashtami Celebration on 6th September 2023, from 4:30 pm onwards at Aanganvaa, GSFC University. The event combined cultural festivities with intellectually engaging activities. It began with a quiz competition featuring questions on aptitude, reasoning, mathematics, and current affairs, fostering teamwork and logical thinking. The winning team received prize money and was given the honor of participating in the traditional “Matki Fod” contest. The celebration concluded with snacks and refreshments, creating a joyful and collaborative environment that blended tradition with innovation. Participation: 100 Students
