EXCEL WORKSHOP– 7th March 2026

The Excel workshop for chemical engineering students focused on practical applications relevant to their field. The session included working with experimental and process data, performing calculations such as mass and energy balances, and using formulas for unit conversions and property estimations. Participants learned to organize and analyze lab data, plot graphs for reaction rates, temperature profiles, and calibration curves, and use Excel tools for basic data analysis. The workshop also covered creating charts for process visualization and handling large datasets efficiently, helping students apply Excel in laboratory work, research, and industrial application. 

CHEM X TREASURE HUNT – 3rd FEBRUARY 2026

The Chem X T-Hunt event was conducted by the AIChE Student Chapter with active participation from students. The event was designed as a technical treasure hunt where participants had to solve chemistry-based clues and challenges to proceed through different stages. Participants were required to apply their understanding of chemical engineering concepts, logical reasoning, and analytical skills to decode clues and complete tasks within the given time limit. Each Proposal for organizing CHEM X T-HUNT by AIChE GSFCU Student Chapter clue led to the next level, making the activity both educational and exciting. The event encouraged collaboration, quick thinking, and effective use of technical knowledge.

KALA FUSION – 29TH JANUARY 2026

Participants were given the opportunity to create paintings on the provided MDF sheets using their imagination and creativity. The event was well-organized, with all necessary arrangements and materials facilitated by the AIChE team. Students enthusiastically took part and expressed their ideas through colours, themes, and artistic designs.

TODAY’S NEWS TOMORROWS LESSON 3.0 – 14th and 15th October 2025

The “Today’s New Tomorrow’s Lesson 3.0” seminar on Mass Transfer Operations is designed to make learning more engaging and collaborative. Students will form groups of four members and deliver PowerPoint presentations on different topics related to MTO, such as distillation, absorption, extraction, and drying. Through this activity, participants will not only strengthen their subject knowledge but also improve teamwork, presentation skills, and confidence in public speaking..

HELPING HAND – 8th OCTOBER 2025

The Helping Hand event, organized by the AIChE Student Chapter, is dedicated to appreciating the efforts of the cleaning staff. Snacks and refreshments will be distributed as a token of gratitude, recognizing their hard work in maintaining cleanliness. This simple gesture aims to spread smiles and promote respect, inclusivity, and community spirit.

The Battle of Board is an engaging event where every club of the institute will be allocated a board to creatively decorate and showcase their identity. Each club will design their board with themes, ideas, and information that represent their vision, activities, and uniqueness. This activity not only reflects the creativity and teamwork of members but also provides an interactive platform for clubs to express themselves and highlight their contributions to the student community. The decorated boards will serve as a vibrant display of innovation, collaboration, and club spirit

 QUIZ FUSION – 25th  September 2025

Quiz Fusion is an engaging and fast-paced quiz competition designed to test participants' knowledge across various topics, blending science, engineering, and popular culture. This event comprises four rounds, each focusing on distinct themes and question types, challenging participants' knowledge, speed, and accuracy. An optional tie-breaker round is included to ensure a fair and exciting conclusion in the event of a tie.

The AIChE GSFCU chapter conducted an online meeting with AIChE RGPIT to foster collaboration and exchange ideas on chapter activities, technical events, and industry engagement. Discussions focused on organizing joint webinars, research initiatives, and participation in AIChE competitions. Both chapters shared insights on student development, leadership strategies, and industry-academia interactions. The meeting strengthened professional networking, enhanced knowledge-sharing, and laid the foundation for future collaborations to promote innovation and skill development in chemical engineering

SHAZAM 3.0 – 15th  FEBRUARY 2025 

Shazam 3.0 is lively non – technical event. This event consists of 2 rounds. In the both round the participants will be given to listen one audio of a speaker or singer and the participants have to guess the name of speaker or singer. Participants will compete individually, aiming to qualify for the next round, the event engages anyone seeking a fun challenge or any fans of Bollywood and music.

ECO WORDS – 15th  FEBRUARY 2025 

The eco words is nothing but the classical game of crossword. But in this game all the words that student will have to find by solving small riddles will be based on environmental science and riddles based of theme of environmental affability. The participants will compete individually to solve the crossword puzzle. And the answers and words to be filled will be related to area of sustainable development and environmental conservation. Who so ever completes the crossword puzzle in less time will be declared as winners.

CHEM E JEOPARDY – 8th  FEBRUARY 2025

Chem-E-Jeopardy is a technical event with two rounds, an elimination round with 25 questions of varying difficulty across 5 topics, and a final round where the top 15 participants compete for the title. The winner and runner-up will be determined based on the highest scores, with prize money for the top performers in this 1.5-2hour competition. Participants have to answer the questions and will get points according to the hardness. The questions will be based on the basic concepts of chemical engineering. They have to choose the question and answer that one by one and more they answer harder questions more the will get points.

GREEN THUMBS GRAPHICS – 8th FEBRUARY 2025

The event focusses on the creativity and thinking skills of the students and awareness regarding the environment and recent consequences regarding the environment. Participants will be given a topic and they will have to design the poster online using any software. We will provide the topics one day prior to the event and at the event they will have to showcase their poster on the online meet. One winner will be chosen and one runner will be chosen and awarded the prize.

LAUGH AND GUESS – 1st  FEBRUARY 2025

Event Description

Laugh and guess is a non-technical event. This event is fun event where the participants have to guess the meme or any reel trend on the basis of given clues and provided hints and the participants who guesses the reel trend correctly wins the prize. And we will choose the runners up accordingly.

TECH TRIVIA – 1st  FEBRUARY 2025

Event Description

Tech Trivia is a technical online event with two rounds, involving solving riddles on scientific phenomena and answering questions based on video showcases of experiments. The riddles and scientific phenomenon will be based on basic concepts of chemical engineering. The top 2 scorers among the participants stands a chance to win the prize money. This event will offer the engaging way for anyone with basic science knowledge to discover fascinating facts

ATOMIC BINGO – 22nd  OCTOBER 2024 

Atomic Bingo” combines the excitement of bingo with the world of atoms and elements. Instead of numbers, your bingo card will be filled with chemical symbols, atomic numbers, and element names. As clues are called out, match them to your card and race to shout “BINGO!”
