Amazing architecture is all around you, now is your chance to build your own. Learn about art deco, cubism and post-modern art as you explore the town square. Your challenge is help the Town Mayor by designing and constructing a new building modeled after a particular artistic style. 

Have you been spending a lot of time inside recently? Give this build challenge a try to flex your creativity and maybe your body as well. Your challenge this month is to design your ideal bedroom that includes at least one way to get exercise indoors. Slime block bed bouncing? Indoor balloon archery range? Racing pig track? Let your imagination run free. 

Create a self portrait in Minecraft! Review examples of pixel art in Minecraft and classic video games. Use a laptop or phone camera to take a selfie. Use the provided world to transform the selfie into a 16x16 or 32x32 pixel portrait. 

Work individually or in teams to create your own treehouse. Try to create a functional shelter within the branches of a nearby tree. Challenge yourself by setting a time limit. Don’t forget a ladder or stairs to get in! 

Work in a group of three to collaboratively build a monster in Minecraft. Each student begins by creating the lower half of the body, students switch, then create the torso, then switch once more and create the head. 

Following the great storm, the people of the mushroom forest need your help to fix their damaged village. As you learn the story of the Mushroom Forest you be challenged to help the villagers there rebuild three structures in their town. Help the mushroom people by building a new bridge, repairing their homes, and creating a brand new mushroom house!
