HOW DID "BASHA GIVES BACK" COME TO BE?

In 2009, a group of Basha seniors raised money to build a school in Africa named after Basha High School. Then, in 2016, another group of Basha seniors built a school in Nicaragua, again named after our school. These are the inspiration for our 4-year Action Research Project, Basha Gives Back created by the BHS Administration and the English Department!

At the same time, Basha High School is named after philanthropist, Eddie Basha, so our benevolent actions are reminiscent of our namesake as well!
