Counseling Plan Presentations by Cluster 

All GSCS Counseling Departments/School Counselors present their SMART goals, data, annual calendar, and plan for delivery in September. The presentations are facilitated using a cluster model. Each school facilitates a 20 minute presentation.  Questions and feedback are provided to the presenters during and after the presentation. The cluster model approach allows for consistency and increased communication within the clusters, as they serve the same families and communities. Counseling Plans are unique to each school, based on needs.  Each presentation must include very brief information regarding the following: 

1. Mission 

2. Plan to promote the school’s counseling program

3. Goals based on school needs/closing the gap plan

4. Calendar of “Big Events”/Calendar by month

5. Plan of delivery- a brief description of how your students will be served by the counseling program

6. School roles of mental health/behavior interventionists/climate personnel/more than one counselor

7. Destination Graduation/ How will your program promote the system’s goal of graduation students college and career ready?   High school discuss registration
